Update the phone number
If a phone number that’s associated with your child’s Trump Account has changed, you’ll need to update it with us.
Important
You must wait until your account setup is complete before you can update your account information to something other than what you provided on Form 4547. This includes the email address and phone number through the account settings.
App
- In your child’s account, select Menu (3 bars)
- Select Settings → Personal information
- Select Phone number
- Enter the new phone number
Web
- In your child’s account, select Settings → Settings (gear icon)
- In Personal information, select the phone number
- Enter the new phone number, and then select Save
If you can’t receive an SMS code on the old phone number, you can use an alternate method to update the number:
- Open the app to log in and select Get help
- Select I forgot my password → Send text instead
- Select Get help again → Verify with selfie and/or ID instead
- Upload a photo of your three-point selfie and/or government-issued ID
- After you regain account access, go to Account → Settings → Personal information → Phone number and enter the new number (you may need to verify yourself again)

If you’re trying to update the phone number to an international number and live outside the US, contact us to provide additional information.
