To update your or your child’s legal first or last name for your child’s Trump Account, you’ll need to contact us and provide the following:

• A photo of the legal name change court document or marriage license
• For parents or guardians, an updated photo ID with the legal name

When prompted in the app, attach your ID or the court document showing the child's name change, and send us an email, so we can send you a letter of authorization to digitally complete and sign. A secure file submission link can also be sent for other documents, if needed.

Note that if your legal name changed after submitting Form 4547, you must use the name you entered in the form to activate your child’s Trump Account. Account activation and form submission information must match. After the account is successfully activated, you can contact us to get your legal name updated in the account.
