If you reset the account password and get an “unable to log in with provided credentials” error message, try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Force-quit and reopen the Trump Accounts app (or quit and relaunch your web browser)
  • Disconnect from any VPNs or proxies
  • Clear your browser’s cache or your mobile app’s stored data
  • Ensure you’re typing the correct email and the new password exactly (watch for typos and correct capitalization)
  • If you still get the error, use Get help on the login screen to request a fresh password reset link
  • Try logging in after waiting 10–15 minutes for email systems to process the reset

Forgot the password

If you forgot the password and can’t log in, select Forgot Password on the Log in page, and we’ll send you a password reset email to the email address on file.

If you don’t see a reset email within a few minutes, first check your Spam or Junk folder. Then try these steps:

  1. Confirm the email address you entered matches the one on file
  2. Search the email inbox for “Trump” or “password reset”
  3. Refresh the email inbox or clear the email app’s cache
  4. Whitelist emails from trumpaccount.com and in the email app’s settings
  5. Request the password reset again on the login page

Make sure to set up an entirely new password. If you try to enter the previous password, you won’t be able to log in.

Forgot the email

If you’ve lost access to the email associated with your child’s Trump Account, you can still recover the account by verifying your identity a different way:

  1. Open the account app and select Log inGet help
  2. Select I forgot my email
  3. Enter your date of birth and Social Security number as the parent (responsible party), and then select Continue
  4. When you receive the SMS (text) challenge, enter the code you receive
  • If you didn’t receive the code, select Resend Code
  • Wait a few minutes for the code to arrive. Depending on your carrier, you may need to retry multiple times. If there’s an error, you may be prompted to reach out to our Support team.
  1. Follow the prompts and upload:
  • A clear photo of the front and back of your government ID
  • A 3-point live selfie

Once we’ve reviewed and approved your ID and selfie, we’ll approve your login.
